If I just graduated from Nursing School and have my Illinois Nursing License, can I sign-up with Healthcare Personnel?

Not yet. All of our clients require our team of professionals to have at least two (2) years direct hospital experience in your specialty within the last three (3) years.

To join Healthcare Personnel, Inc. what does that require?

1. An Illinois Nursing license
2. A minimum of two out of the last three years experience in a hospital setting in your specialty
3. Completing Healthcare Personnel’s on-line registration
4. Having an 80% or better grade on our on-line testing in your specialty
5. Faxing us all the related paperwork such as: Physical, TB, Flu Shot, FIT Test
6. Having updated CPR Card, current Titers/Vaccination; ACLS/PALS/NRP Card(s) (if applicable)
7. Final step: a face-to-face interview at our office

What are the qualifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant joining Healthcare Personnel, Inc.?

1. You must have CNA Certificate
2. A minimum of two out of the last three years experience in a hospital setting as either an Acute Care or Sitter
3. Completing our on-line registration
4. Having an 80% or better grade on our on-line testing in your specialty
5. Faxing us all the related paperwork such as: Physical, TB, Flu Shot, FIT Test
6. Having updated CPR Card, current Titers/Vaccination
7. Final step: a face-to-face interview at our office

If it is not flu season, am I still required to schedule a flu shot?

Yes. At Healthcare Personnel, Inc. all employees are required to have a flu shot before they are hired to become part of the HPI team. All client hospitals require nurses have a flu shot.

Can I decline the flu shot?

Yes you may. However, declining this requirement may result in the professional having to wear a mask at all times within the hospital setting. It may also limit your ability to work at certain hospitals.

What if I’m allergic to the flu shot, do I still have to get one?

No. You will though be required to obtain a written statement from your doctor confirming your allergy to the flu shot. You will be required to wear a mask while working at the hospital.

Does Healthcare Personnel, Inc. provide health insurance to employees?

Not at this time.

Does Healthcare Personnel, Inc. offer 401K plans?

Not currently, but we are looking into this option.

Do you sponser foreign-trained nurses who are in the U.S. on a work visa or an immigrant visa?

Not at this time.
